Friends in Focus Events

Friends in Focus provides open meetings of like minded people with the purpose of getting together to share, learn, listen, inspire, grow and play.
It's for everyone working towards the common goal of personal and spiritual growth, healing, peace, global harmony and fun.
We meet once a month at the West End Village Hall, West End Lane, Esher, Surrey. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the evening commences at 8:00 p.m. and concludes at 10:30 p.m. Cost of admission is Ł6.00 with refreshments included.
Our aim is to bring you the best inspirational speakers to enlighten and help you on your personal journey.

Directions to West End Village Hall, West End Lane. West End, Esher, Surrey KT10 8LB

West End lies between Cobham and Esher off the A307.

Direction One

Travelling from London use the A3 and come off at the A277 signed to Esher and Sandown Park

When you approach the double traffic lights at Esher, make sure you are in the inside lane. You will see a large direction sign indicating left for the A307 Cobham. As there is no left turn at the main traffic lights you will turn into a short slip road onto the A307. ( If you miss this turn, go straight across Esher High St and follow directions marked * in part two)

Follow this road for about 2 miles until you see the 50 mile speed sign. You will then see a brown National Trust sign for Claremont Gardens on your right. Move into the middle of the road go past the Garden entrance (left) and turn right turn into West End Lane. This is a narrow wooded lane and not well lit.

The village hall is a brick building on the right hand side opposite the village green. Car park is at the rear, if full, park around the green.

Direction Two

If you are travelling on the M25 come off at the A3 (junction10) go towards London and take the first exit after the M25. It will be signed A307 Cobham/Esher.

Go up the slip road to the traffic lights and turn right, going round the roundabout over the A3.

Turn immediately left at the traffic lights onto the A307.

There is a small roundabout with a Sainsbury.s petrol station. At the next roundabout turn left and stay on the A307. You are about three miles from the venue.

You will go through a set of traffic lights and about one mile on, the road will go uphill.

As you go downhill, on the left hand side you will see a brown National Trust sign for Claremont Gardens. Immediately after this is a blue sign that says .unsuitable for heavy vehicles., immediately after this sign you will turn left into West End Lane. If it is dark you might not be able to see this turn off, as it is not well lit. There are bollards in the middle of the A307 opposite this turn, which may help.

West End Lane is narrow and wooded and opens up onto West End Village Green on the left.

West End Village Hall is an old brick building on the right, and the car park is at the rear of the building.

(If you miss the turn into West End Lane, rather than trying to turn around, you can go into Esher ( approx. 1 mile) and turn left at the first set of *traffic lights (A277) into Church Street which is a short one way street. Turn left again into Lammas Lane (A277 to Hersham). Go down to the first roundabout. Turn left again into West End Lane. The road curves round to the right and then left. Follow this road with the village green on your right. The hall is then on the left).

Direction Three

If you are travelling from Molesey, Walton or Hersham, take the A277 at the Hersham roundabout towards Esher and at the next roundabout at the Princess Alice Hospice, turn right into West End Lane and follow the road which bears right and then left, The Village Hall is the brick building on the left opposite the Village Green
